Thank you to everyone who made the unveiling of this incredible mural possible on Saturday, March 8, 2025! 🙌🎉 This artwork, a true labor of love, honors the hardworking individuals who have shaped Fresno into the thriving county it is today.
Created by local artist Martin Townsend, this mural celebrates the resilience, diversity, and strength of our workers—especially through challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. It stands as a lasting tribute to the spirit of the San Joaquin Valley and the vital role of every worker across all sectors.
A huge thank you to our community partners UC Merced Community and Labor Center, The Jakara Movement, and Valley Forward for funding this project and to the Biola CSD Board of Directors for their support. This is just the beginning—murals tell our stories and inspire generations to come!
